ARMY PROVIDES PROMPT MEDICAL RELIEF TO BAKARWALS Jammu:Indian Army troops deployed in Tehsil Bani, District Kathua (J&K) provided prompt and much needed medical relief to the Bakarwals who were trapped due to recent incessant snowfall and rainfall. Large number of Bakarwals suffered superficial injuries like frost bite and other cold injuries while more than 600 of their livestock also perished due to the inclement weather condition. These proactive actions of immediate medical relief to the needy Bakarwal have certainly mitigated the hardships faced by them.The endeavor was well appreciated by the Bakarwal community and they expressed their gratitude towards Indian Army for this noble gesture.
