District courts in most parts of Jammu province to observe 15 days summer vacations from June 10

SRINAGAR, MAY 24: The Districts Courts located in summer zones of Jammu province will observe 15 days summer vacations beginning June 10.

Issuing an order to this effect here on Friday, Registrar General of the Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh High Court, Shahzad Azeem, made it clear that this vacations order will not be applicable to courts located in Kishtwar and Doda districts, besides Batote, Gool, Ukhral and Banihal areas of Ramban district, and Bani in Kathua district.

He also asked the Principal District and Sessions Judges and the Chief Judicial Magistrates of all the concerned districts to make suitable arrangements for “disposal of urgent criminal business arising during the period of such vacations in areas within their respective jurisdiction.
