Jammu: SMVDU broadcasted Viksit Bharat@2047 launched by Prime Minister
Ideas for Vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 broadcasted at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University launched by Honorable Prime Minister at 10.30 am on 11th December, 2023.

The program highlighted the vision of the Government of India to make India a developed nation by 2047, the 100th year of its independence. The vision encompasses various aspects of development, including economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability, and good governance.

Prime Minister invoked the youth of the country to participate with their full potential to realize the vision of Viksit Bharat as they have the required energy and strength, desire, potential, talent and capabilities to play the pivotal role to lead India to Viksit Bharat by 2047.

He further highlighted the role of the Teachers, students and Educational Institutions to ideate and contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat. Therefore, they should start the outreach program to approach every youth in the country and convey the vision and mission of Viksit Bharat.

The program was attended by all the students, faculty and staff members of the university. The program was addressed by Prof. R. K. Mishra, Dean of Students Welfare, Dr. Shafaq Rasool, Associate Dean, Academic Affairs, Dr. Yugal Khajuriya, Dean of International and Alumina Affairs and Dr.Mir Irfan Ul Haq, Associate Dean of International and Alumina Affairs. The closing remarks were delivered by Shri Ajay Sharma, Registrar in presence of Shri Neeraj Gupta, Finance Officer, SMVDU.
