BATOTE, FEBRUARY 24: The immovable properties of three persons who were allegedly involved in the terrorist activity -reportedly throwing of a grenade at Police Post,Ind in Gool on August 2,2022were today attached by Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of J&K Police.
The attached properties included a single storey house of Abdul Majid Lone at Sesal, Ind;a single storey house of Mohammed Farooq and a chemist shop of Shahdin Padyar.
These properties were attached in presence of a Magistrate,Naib Tehsildar,Nazar Mohammed,on the orders of SDPO, Gool, Nihar Ranjan after sanctioned by DGP,Dilbagh Singh under Explosive Substance Act, Unlawful Activities Prevention Act 1967 and Prevention of Damage of Public Property (PDPP)Act.
Today afternoon,the SIU team led by ASP, Ramban,Gaurav Mahajan and including SDPO,Gool,Nihar Ranjan,CIU District Chairman,DSP, Waqar Butt and SHO, Gool, Nazir Ahmed under the supervision of SSP, Ramban,Mohita Sharma went to the specific locations under a posse of security men and pasted the notices on the houses amid drum-beat proclamation in presence of Local Sarpanches,Panches and Chowkidars.
Through the notice the owners of these persons have been restrained to ‘transfer, lease out,dispose off, change its nature or deal with the said property in any manner without the permission of J&K Police or the Designated Authority’.
