JAMMU, Oct 20: A man was injured while around fifty livestock perished after lightning struck a seasonal house in Thanamandi sub division area of Rajouri district, officials said on Thursday.
Police said that lightening struck a dhok (seasonal house) in Bari Behak area of Thanamandi in which three nomad families suffered loss as around fifty cattles of theirs got perished.
A local man identified as Mohd. Junaid son of Faiz Hussain resident of Gambhir Mughalan was injured in the incident. Police team led by SHO Thannamandi Shoket Hussain reached on the spot.(Agencies)
