JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 15: Four people were killed and 25 others injured as the bus in which they were travelling rolled down into a deep gorge in border Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
According to police, the bus was on way to Jammu from Surankote in Poonch district at that time.
This has been the second road accident in Pir Panjal region of J&K since yesterday. On Wednesday, nearly a dozen people were killed and 30 others injured when a mini bus rolled down into a gorge at Burari in Sawjian area of Mandi in Poonch district.
A massive rescue operation was launched soon after the news about the accident came in. The injured were rushed to the hospital.
The police have registered a case. However, the cause of accident is yet to be known.
