JAMMU, APRIL 24: Two people were injured in a powerful explosion that took place late Sunday night at Jammu and Kashmir’s Shahpur village in border Rajouri district..
Police sources said that the explosion took place at the residence of one Pritam Singh where the organisers were packing up the things after the conclusion of a marriage function.
The police party led by local SHO has proceeded to the spot, while injured have been rushed to the hospital.
Sources said that it was the fourth explosion in the area during less than a month. Earlier a fortnight ago, a couple was injured in an explosion outside their jhuggi under mysterious circumstances. Prior to that, two powerful explosions had taken place in a nullah in the area.
