Sanjeev Pargal heading towards victory in Jammu Press Club elections

JAMMU, APRIL 8: Sanjeev Pargal, Bureau Chief of Daily Excelsior along with his team was heading toward victory during the Jammu Press Club elections held earlier during the day on Friday.

By late night when the counting of votes was in progress, Pargal had at the completion of second round of counting secured 210 votes against only 40 by Surinder Sharma of Channel 1 in a three cornered contest for the post of president.

For the post of vice president, Zorawar Singh had polled 200 votes against Ravinder Singh’s 48,  Dinesh Manhota (198) against Sumit Sharma (51) for the post of general secretary, and Channi Anand (199) against Sudhir Kumar (48) for the post of treasurer.

The executive members in the panel of Sanjeev Pargal were also heading towards victory as they were leading by huge margin from their rivals.
