Basohli :On the concluding occasion of the weekly Gita discourse camp at Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan, the President of Basohli Nagar, Sumesh Sapolia, as the chief guest, said that the teachings emanating from the mouth of Lord Krishna in the form of Gita shows a path to the welfare of the entire human race rather than any caste , religion and sect .
He said that many people of Basohli town are getting benefit from such camps running continuously in the institute, since morning every day the whole city is moving towards spirituality with the melodious sound of Vedic hymns of Sanskrit.
As a special guest, Shiv Dobliya said that Gita is the essence of life and the basis of the world. In his speech, he narrated an incident that Mahatma Gandhi used to say that whenever I faced any problem, then I turn the pages of Gita itself, the conclusion of saying is that Gita helps us in all kinds of troubles.
Acharya Suniti ji, who came in the form of Saraswat Atithi, said that Lord Shri Krishna has preached to the whole world through Gita.
Sakuntala Devi, who was present as a special guest, said that Lord Shri Krishna has made the whole world aware of truth by making Arjuna an instrument.
On this occasion, a written and oral examination on Gita was organized in the institute in which Manik Sharma and Harish Sharma stood first, Sudarsh Thakur , Vinay Billawria and Kartik Verma in second place, Vishal Sharma, Sunandan Sharma, Sujal Khajuria, Agam Sharma,Nitya Sharma and Chitrani Razdan remained on the third place.
Acharya Abhishek Kumar Upadhyay, the principal of the institute, while focusing special attention on Gita Jayanti, said that there is no such book in the world whose birthday is celebrated, such sacred thoughts are inherent in the Indian knowledge tradition itself.
The Bhagavad Gita contains the inexhaustible ocean of knowledge, the light and philosophy of life.
On this occasion, an interesting presentation was also given by the students of the institute on Shri Krishna Arjun dialogue, which captivated the public as if the dialogue of Kurukshetra is taking place in the institute today itself.
On this auspicious occasion of Gita Jayanti, the Chief Trustee of the Institute, Shakti Kumar Pathak, like the tradition of his father, recited the entire Gita along with the teachers and students of the institute, he told that the founder of the institute, Dr. Pandit Uttam, founder of the institute , used to do such recitation was done every year and this tradition should continue continuously and with this spirit, thanked everyone. Acharya Surendra Shastri and Acharya Rakesh Sharma honored the guests by giving them clothes.
