Arms found in packet dropped by drone in Mandal area

JAMMU, OCT 3: The Jammu and Kashmir have recovered an AK-47 along with three magazines and a night vision device from Akita Mandal village near the international border in Jammu district.

The seized weapons were contained in a packet which was dropped in the area by a drone from across the border.

Sources said that the packet was supposed to be picked up by terror associate who, however, did not come there in view of the arrival of police on the spot.

Police have registered a case in the matter.
