From SMVDSB Spiritual Centre, BJP asks cadres to strengthen party as polls on cards in J&K

Katra: From the premises of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Spiritual Growth Centre here, BJP’s UT president Ravinder Raina on Sunday called upon party workers to work with full dedication to strengthen the party at ground zero as elections are on the cards in Jammu and Kashmir.

He was speaking at the Mandal Adhyaksh Sammallen organized by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) to launch the Yuva Sampark Abhiyan across Jammu and Kashmir.

About 350 activists of BJP including 190 block presidents and 20 district presidents and their general secretaries took part in this samallen in which BJP president Ravinder Raina, Member Parliament Jugal Kishore, Ashok Koul BJP general secretary (organizational), Kavinder Gupta ex Deputy Chief Minister J&K, BJYM national secretary Rohit Chahal, Arun Parbhat BJYM Jammu & Kashmir president, ex Minister and MLA Reasi Ajay Nanda also took part.

The event was organized at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Spiritual Growth Centre, Katra, Reasi where it was told to party activists that the election bell has been sounded in the Jammu and Kashmir and final announcement could be made anytime. The party cadre was asked to reach common masses and satisfy them with what do they want to know.

On the occasion Ashok Koul general secretary organizational BJP also appealed the party workers and activists to completely focus on the upcoming Assembly election in JK and to make it a target to form BJP government in UT. He asked them to reach out to the maximum number of people and brief them about policies and achievements of BJP government.

Rohit Chahal BJYM’s national general secretary said the BJP will surely form government in Jammu Kashmir by winning the upcoming assembly elections because the polices and developments made by the centre are visible to everyone and people of J&K too want such developments in their UT too. He hailed the BJYM for its dedication towards task.

Arun Prabhat, BJYM state president in his address said that BJYM activists are working day and night to strengthen the hands of party and assured the senior leadership that they will no stone unturned to mark a remarkable victory in Jammu and Kashmir’s upcoming assembly elections. He asked the BJYM activists to reach booth levels and to formulate teams at booth level.

Also speaking on the occasion ex minister and MLA Reasi applauded the BJYM role in strengthening party in the last couple of years and expressed that he believes that BJYM will work with more zeal to make party more strong to mark a remarkable victory in upcoming assembly elections.

BJP Jammu and Kashmir chief spokesperson Sunil Sethi and Ankit Gupta social media Incharge BJP Jammu and Kashmir also addressed the gathering.

State office bearers of BJYM Jammu and Kashmir and Others Activists also present on the occasion.

Later, BJYM national general secretary Rohit Chahal along with BJYM workers sprinkled “Ganga Jal’’ on Katra saying that the pious land of the holy township has been made impious by politicizing his pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine as party workers unfurled Congress flags during the occasion.

The Congress leader while proceeding to the holy shrine, however, refused to make any political statement even on BJP saying that he had come to pay obeisance at the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine.
