The Member Parliament also discussed the ongoing works of Zojila Tunnel which after completion will provide all weather road connectivity to the people of Ladakh. It was averred that the work is going on with full pace and it is expected that sooner than later the connectivity will get through and people will no longer remain cut-off with the rest of the world during winter months. He also expressed happiness that people in Kashmir Valley are also contented with the colossal development that is taking place post-abrogation of Article 370. He said that he met lots of people as part of PSC.

Kavinder appreciated the young MP from Ladakh for working with enthusiasm to ensure development in the Ladakh UT. He said that the stand taken by MP Namgyal over segregation of Ladakh as a separate UT and on abrogation of Article 370 is laudable because this has lead to enormous development in the Union Territory of Ladakh and people have witnessed for the first time the true colours of democracy and good governance. He said that BJP never discriminates on the basis of caste, colour, creed or religion. He said that by taking this landmark step in J&K, it has proved that under this party all are equal citizens of the country and no one can have privilege over the other.
