Katra: Yatra to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Trikuta hills near Katra in Jammu and Kashmir was suspended for nearly an hour on Tuesday afternoon following fire inside the cash counting room within the Bhawan complex.
Howeverver, there was no loss of life or injury to anybody as, according to police, there were no one inside the room. The CRPF personnel on guard duty in the area said that fire was caused by an electric short circuit.
The CRPF, police and Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine Board employees jointly brought the fire under control.
These days, the number of pilgrims visiting the holy shrine are very less (between 1500-2000) in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
