Srinagar: Gulmarg, world famous ski resort, recorded minus 10 degree C as minimum temperature dipped across Kashmir Valley.
Srinagar recorded a low of minus 0.4 degree C on Thursday night against minus 0.8 degree C on the previous night. Similarly, temperature fell down ti minus 3.3 degree C in Pahalgam from 2.5 °C on the earlier night.
In Qazigund, the mercury settled at minus 1.8 degree C, Kupwara (minus 1.7 degree C) and Kokernag (minus 1.6 degree C).
Kashmir is in the middle 49-day long Chillai-Kalan (severest winter days) which commenced on December 21 and ends on January 31.
