Udhampur, November 4: Two people were killed in a car accident inside Chenani-Nashri Tunnel on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway late Tuesday night.
Sources said that an Alto Car bearing registration number JK-14A-9978 was on way to Ramban from Udhampur collided with gate No 16 inside Chennani – Nashri Tunnel .while two people died on the spot, one was seriously injures.
Police identified the dead as Bittu Sharma, 40, and Sudesh Pandit, 28, both residents of Ramban and Batote, respectively. Injured Ganesh Gotam, 20, of Ramban was hospitalised.
