Jammu: The UT on Tuesday trported 1184 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) including 421 from Jammu division and 763 from Kashmir division, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 302651.
It also 11 COVID-19 deaths including five from Jammu Division and six from Kashmir. With this, the total death toll in J&K ever since the beginning of the pandemic last year has risen to 4101.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 302651 positive cases, 21817 are Active Positive, 276733 have recovered.
The Bulletin further said that out of 8932882test results available, 8630231 samples have been tested as negative till June 8.
Till date 2180670 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 81496 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 21817 in isolation and 145660in home surveillance. Besides, 1927596 persons have completed their surveillance period.
