Jammu: On account of growing COVID-19 positive cases in District Poonch (J&K), Indian Army distributed COVID kits and relief items to PHC for assist local populace of the region to fight against COVID-19. Indian Army has provided medical support to PHC which include Battle Field Nursing Assistance for spreading awareness on precautions to be taken to prevent spread of the virus.
Army distributed COVID-19 kits to PHC Budhal and interacted with the villagers including Sarpanches and Panches. Villagers were familiarised with symptoms observed in 2nd strain of COVID-19 and on the importance of practicing preventive measures. 1200 COVID medical kits consisting of Gloves, Masks and Hand Sanitisers were distributed to the locals. The efforts of Army have been appreciated by the locals.
