BJP accuses LG administration of making mockery of abrogation of Art 370, seeks termination of Atal Dulloo

Jammu: Raking up a controversy, the UT administration has fixed two different set of rules to recruit people for vacancies in two upcoming 500 bedded Covid hospitals being constructed by DRDO at Jammu and in Srinagar.
Does the Union Territory have two sets of recruitment rules for people living in its two divisions – Jammu and Kashmir, asked the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry general secretary Gaurav Gupta here on Saturday.
Drawing attention of the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and his Advisor R R Bhatnagar on their official Twitter handles, the Chamber leader has pointed out that the UT’s Health Department has issued advertisements inviting applications for the posts of doctors in 500 bedded temporary COVID hospitals being set up by DRDO in Jammu and Srinagar. However, while for the hospital in Jammu, the advertisement notice says that anyone from across Jammu and Kashmir can apply for the vacancies so advertised.
However, on the contrary, another advertisement issued for vacancies in DRDO’s hospital being set up in Srinagar says that only candidates hailing from Kashmir can apply.
Gupta has sought clarification from LG and his advisor on the two different set of recruitment rules for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, IkkJutt Jammu leader Ankur Sharma described the fixation of two different yardsticks for recruitment to two hospitals in the UT “Subverting Democracies” using Totalitarian Jihadist Models of “Muslim Brotherhood” & “Op. Topac”. That’s called a “de facto Islamic State”, he added.
BJP spokesperson Brigadier (retired) Anil Gupta too joined the issue saying “LG admin in JK makes mockery of abrogation of Article 35A/370”.
Describing fixation of two different set of rules for recruitment two COVID hospitals in the UT as “blatant display of Kashmiri have money”, he pointed out that 35 ADVOC posts of MOs (medical officers) reserved for residents of Kashmir division only violating existing rules.
“Sack Atal Dulloo” Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education, he demanded in tweets to PMO, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP president J P Nadda and LG Manoj Sinha.
As Jammu based politicians cutting across party lines started condemning the UT administration, Principal and Dean Government Medical College Jammu and Associated Hospitals Dr Shashi Sudan Sharma modified the advertisement notice saying that only candidates from Jammu division will be eligible to apply for posts in upcoming Covid hospital at Jammu.
