Jammu: Indian Army in Doda as part of its initiative of ‘Spreading Hope’ organized distribution of clothing essentials and medicines to Gujjars and Bakkarwals at remote corners of Doda. The Army Camp at Gundna tehsil distributed about 70 packages of clothing and medicines among Gujjars and Bakkarwals occupying the higher reaches of Doda. The event aims to provide the community protection against the harsh climate of the region. The opportunity was also utilised to spread awareness on precautions to be taken to avoid COVID-19.
