Pistol, ammunition found after troops open fire on drone flying over LoC in Rajouri district

JAMMU, JULY 27: Security Forces opened fire on a Quadcopter on Thursday night after they found it flying along the Line of Control in Jhangar area of Jammu and Kashmirs’s border Rajouri district,

The Quadcopter, which had come from across the LoC, was noticed hovering over Sair village, sources said, adding that the security forces deployed at the nearby post fired some rounds to bring down the flying object which, however, disappeared.

Later, a cordon and search operation by the security forces was started this morning during which one pistol, two loaded magazines and 37 rounds of pistol were recovered, sources said.
