Security forces conduct searches in border areas of Samba following suspicious movement

JAMMU, MAY 24: Following reports about some suspicious movement in forward Bein-Lalachak area in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district, security forces on Friday conducted combing and search operation in many villages near the international border with Pakistan.

Sources said that drones were also used during the searches which were carried out as a precautionary measure.

The villages where searches were conducted included Manguchek, Sadechek, Regal and Chahwal, have been searched. 

The forces conducted verification of all the border residents and checked their identification documents during searches. 
The ‘Black Panther’ Operations Command Vehicle was also used during the searches as security personnel combed farmlands and bushy areas besides villages, the officials said.
