JAMMU, APRIL 8: Law Minister Kiren Rijiju on Saturday evening escaped unhurt after his vehicle was hit by a truck at Marog along the Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Ramban district.
Pointing out that the minister was on way to Srinagar from Jammu at that time, police said, adding that no one was injured.

Meanwhile, a senior police officer said that as per initial investigations, the vehicle was already halted, but it slipped due to steep slope of the road and hit the minister’s car. However, the truck driver has been taken into custody for questioning.
Earlier in the day, the Minister tweeted saying “one can enjoy the beautiful road throughout the journey” as he travelled from Jammu to Udhampur to attend a Legal Services Camp.
