BJP leader had narrow escape as leopard enters BJP leader’s residence in Srinagar

SRINAGAR, MARCH 23: Panic gripped Srinagar’s Church lane after a leopard entered the official residence of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, on Wednesday morning.

Koul was busy with his morning chores at that time when leopard appeared in the lawns. However, the BJP leader had a narrow escape as he managed to give a slip to the leopard,

A team of forest, forest protection and wildlife department along with a police team led by SDPO Nehru Park captured leopard alive after it got trapped into an old shed of the guest house.

Meanwhile, Officials said that a leopard had taken shelter on a tree in Church Lane Sonwar following which the team successfully caught the leopard and dispatched it to Dachigam park.
