5.5 KGs of Ganja recovered by police station Bahu Fort Jammu. Two interstate drug peddlers arrested.

Jammu: In an act of alertness and prompt action, 5.5 kg ganja was recovered byJammu police.While patrolling and area domination, two suspect tried to flee away when they were signalled to stop for checking. Acting swiftly they were apprehended near Baggar Mandi, Trikuta Nagar by police team of P/S Bahu Fort led by SHO P/S Bahu Fort Inspr. Deepak Pathania assisted by SI Mohd. Iqbal later identified as Shiva Srivastava S/O Bajrang Srivastava R/O Janjgir Champa, Chhatisgarh and Sanjay Chouhan S/O Prem Lal Chouhan R/O Raigarh,Chhatisgarh. On search, 5.5 Kgs of ganja was recovered from them.

On this Case FIR No.210/21 U/S 8/20/29 NDPS Act got registered at P/S Bahu Fort and the accused got arrested.The overall arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO City East Sh. Bikram Kumar.
