Soldier injured in terrorist attack on a naka party in Rajouri

JAMMU, JULY 22: An army soldier was injured after terrorists attacked the house of a Shaurya Chakra awardee Parshotam Kumar at far off Gunda Khawas village in border Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir during wee hours of Monday.

Officials confirmed the terrorist attack, but said that details were awaited.

Meanwhile, sources said that Parshotam was recently awarded Shaurya Chakra by the President for killing a terrorists in Kalakote area.

However, it could not be known whether Parshotam was at home or not at that time. However, a bovine animal at his house was killed.

The security forces retaliated making terrorists to flee from the spot.

Sources said that the injured soldier was part of the security forces naka recently set up near the house of Parshotam Kumar.

Reinforcements have been rushed to the area. Further details are awaited.
