Srinagar, Feb 24 :The Jammu & Kashmir Government on Saturday appointed A.K. Chowdhary (IPS-1991) as chairman of Public Service Commission for the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department, the Lieutenant Governor has appointed A.K. Chowdhary as chairman PSC.

He shall hold the position of the chairman Public Service Commission till he attains the age of sixty two years.
“His appointment shall take effect from the date he assumes the office,” reads the notification. (Agencies)
