Jammu: GOC White Knight Corps accompanied by GOC CIF(R) reaffirmed the Army’s commitment to operational readiness and community engagement. His visit in Poonch Rajauri was aimed at fostering unity and collaboration between the armed forces and local communities for strengthening peace and stability.

The Corps Commander encouraged continued cooperation between the local populace and security forces, highlighting the crucial role community support plays in maintaining peace and security. The legitimate concerns and aspirations of the local populace of Pir Topa, Pangai and adjoining villages were given a patient hearing and their redressal by the IA and the administration was assured.

Additionally, the visit to Surankote served as an opportunity to honor and felicitate individuals from the society, who have made commendable contributions in the fields of education, sports, and literature, further strengthening the bond between the armed forces and the local populace.

During his interaction with troops, he emphasized the importance of building strong bonds with the local populace to gain their trust and support. He assured the civil population that security forces would uphold the standards and work tirelessly for their safety & security from Anti National Elements.

The Corps Commander’s visit underscored the Corps’ dedication to promote peace, harmony and cohesiveness in the area.
