Four members of a Bakerwal family killed as tree falls on their tent in Kishtwar forests
JAMMU, MAY 25: Four members of a Bakerwal family were killed during wee hours of Thursday when a tree feel on their makeshift tent in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bahlna forests of Kishtwar district.
Police identified as Nazir Ahmed, 55, his wife Anwar Begum, 42, besides Shama Begum, 26 and Shakeel Banoo, 17.

They along with their livestock were on way to their pastures on the higher reaches from the plains of Kathua district. They were asleep inside the tent at that time.
The police have registered a case and rushed a police party to the area.
