J&K | LG Manoj Sinha reviewed the progress of Zojila tunnel project along with Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari & Members of Parliamentary Consultative Committee on Road Transport & Highways.

Zojila tunnel is Asia’s longest bi-directional tunnel and it will provide all weather connectivity between the Kashmir Valley and Ladakh. It will be equipped with CCTV, radio connectivity, fire alarm, heat detection systems & ventilation at par with international standards

PM Narendra Modi has given a new impetus to the construction of highways, tunnels and bridges in J&K UT which will transform lives of people, give a boost to tourism industry and integrate the economy

This project is testimony of PM’s commitment to holistic development & modernization of remote areas. Also, requested Shri Nitin Gadkari Ji for more jobs to local youth in Zojila tunnel project & NHIDCL can develop infra for adventure tourism at Sonamarg under CSR: LG Manoj Sinha
