Bandipora: DG Jammu and Kashmir Police Dilbagh Singh said that terrorism isn’t over in J-K but it’s all time low, as the youth of J-K has realized that terrorism brings only destruction.

Singh while speaking to reporters at Bandipora on the side-lines of an official function said that due to the strenuous efforts of Jammu and Kashmir Police and other forces terrorism has been brought to all time low in J-K but it’s not over yet.

Dilbagh Singh said that the main credit for decline in terrorism goes to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir who realized that terrorism brings only destruction and are staying away from the subversive activities. He urged youth to involve themselves in career building and sports.

Dilbagh Singh said that narcotics is the biggest challenge before Jammu and Kashmir as the huge consignment of drugs are being smuggled from LOC areas of North Kashmir including Gurez, Kupwara and URI. Singh said although Police is acting tough against drug mafia, but people should be also aware of the conspiracy behind this drug menace. He said that Pakistan wants our youth to get involved in drugs so that they fall in terrorism, but the nefarious plans will be defeated.
