Amit arrives Jammu to meet terror victim families at Upper Dangri

JAMMU, JANUARY 13: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday arrived in Jammu and Kashmir to meet with the bereaved families of terror victims in Upper Dangri village near Rajouri.

The visit comes 13 days after militants killed seven civilians and injured 16 others in back to back terror attacks in the village on January 1-2. While four people were killed and six others injured in firing by militants on January 1 evening, while two minors were killed and ten others injured in explosion next morning at one of the house attacked by militants the previous evening.

He was received by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at the airport.

Shah will also chair a high-level meeting to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, sources said.
