Jammu : Under the week-long “Jan Abhiyan Shehri” programme initiated by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, today Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) has been organised awareness programme at Khanpur Nagrota, Jammu.
ARTO Jammu Pawan Sharma while addressing the youth said that UT govt started many job opportunities schemes for the unemployed youth.
He said that under the scheme of MUMKIN youth whose age is between 18 to 35 years can avail the livelihood generation scheme.
Under this scheme financial assistance to the tune of 100 percent on the road price of vehicle, 80 percent as Mudra Loan by the J&K Bank, 10 percent incentive by Mission Youth and 10 percent special discount by vehicle manufacturer as margin money.
ARTO Pawan said that on the direction of RTO Jammu Pankaj Bhagotra, MVD officers has been started awareness drive for the commuters.
He thrust upon the adoption of electric vehicles. He said that today as we know that electric vehicles are eco friendly, easy to drive, no noise pollution and high income at less expenditure.
