JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 18: The Jammu Kashmir Police and the CRPF on Sunday carried out a joint search operation at various forward villages along the International Border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir following reports about the sighting of a suspected Pakistani drone on late Saturday evening in Sarathi Kalan village.

The searches started around 7.30 pm, sources said, adding that these continued till 9 am Sunday. However, nothing objectionable was found.
The area is close to BSF’s Regal border outpost (BOP) and several attempts have been made there in the past also to drop arms, ammunition and narcotics.
