SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 18: A father and his son were among three people killed after a mud house collapsed in South Kashmir’s Daksum area of Anantnag on Sunday.
Identifying the deceased as Manzoor Ahmad Gorsi and his son, besides one Hajra Begum, sources said that one person was injured. The deceased hailed from Bidhard Kokernag area and they had been putting up in a highland pasture at Mather Pathar Behak in Daksum forest.
UT’s Lt Governor Manoj Sinha expressed grief over the loss of human lives in house collapse.
“Deeply anguished by the loss of lives due to a house collapse in Larnoo, Anantnag. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families. Directed district administration to ensure best possible treatment to the injured & immediate assistance to the affected families,” LG Manoj Sinha said in a tweet.
