Police with SFs ready to face every challenge with fortitude: J&K Top Cop

Jammu, July 28: The Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Dilbag Singh on Thursday said that the police along with other security forces are always ready to face every challenge with fortitude across J&K.
“Every day comes with a different challenge but J&K Police along with other security forces are ever ready to face all challenges with fortitude,” the DGP said speaking to the media here at Gulshan Ground after flagging off 120 police retrofitted motorcycles for police stations.
He said that in recent past a number of terror and narco modules aimed to create disturbance particularly in Jammu region were successfully busted and complimented the Jawans and officers of Police and CAPFs for tireless efforts in providing security to the people.
The Police Chief said that it is an effort to empower Jawans with additional mobility to ensure quick and better response to any criminal activity and added, “Jawans riding bikes will be connected with a concerned unit or control room; besides, they will be able to record and transmit any event.”

He said that deployment will further strengthen the patrolling in border and city grids.
He also interacted with the teams of BDS, ATS and Dog squad.

The flag off ceremony was also attended by ADGP Jammu, Mukesh Singh, IGP Traffic, J&K, Vikramjit Singh, DIG JSK Range, Vivek Gupta, DPT, J&K, Shridhar Patil, SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli, SSP Traffic, Koushal Sharma, AIG (P/T) PHQ, Gurinderpal Singh and other senior officers of Jammu District.
