Maharashtra ATS picks up one from Kishtwar for terror links

JAMMU, JUNE 2: Atni-Terrorist Squad from Maharashtra on Thursday arrested a person from Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district for alleged terror links.

The apprehension follows revelations by one Junaid Mohammad, a Pune resident, who was arrested by ATS recently on charges of having links with Lashkar-e-Toiba. During investigations, he was found to be providing money to woo local youth join terror ranks.

On his disclosures, the Maharashtra ATS team had first visited Kashmir and then Kishtwar in Jammu division, sources said. The arrested youth has been taken to Mumbai on transit remand from a Kishtwar court, they added.
