JAMMU, APRIL 24: A powerful explosion was heard during wee hours of Sunday under mysterious instances at village Laliyana in Jammu district’s Bishnah.

A senior police officer said that a small carter has been formed following the explosion around 4.30 am in the agricultural fields, but he ruled out any terror angle in it. He quoted local villagers saying that the blast like sound leading to formation of a carter may have been caused either by lightening or a small meteorite like object.
However, police had reached the spot. The matter is under investigation.
