JAMMU, JANUARY 6: The road link to Ksshmir Valley remained cut off from rest of the world for second day on Thursday as the vehicular traffic on Jammu-Srinagar national highway remained suspended due to the closure of road following mudslide and falling of stones from mountains along the road at various places on Ramban district.
Sources said that there was mudslide at Cafeteria Morh. There were also incidents of stones falling from mountains at frequent intervals.
On Wednesday, a motorist Adil Bashir of Bemona, Srinagar, was killed and another injured when a boulder fell on their car near Jaswal bridge in Ramban district.
Meanwhile, Mughal road and Sinthan Top, two other roads linking Jammu’s Poonch and Kishtwar districts with Kashmir Valley too were closed due to snowfall, police said.
