Jammu: On the occasion of the Veterans Day, 2 J&K (I) Coy NCC, Bhaderwah under the aegis of NCC Directorate JK&L organized a wreath laying ceremony and paid homage to the Nb Sub Chuni Lal decorated with Country’s highest Gallantry Award : Ashok Chakra, Veer Chakra and Sena Medal at Bhaderwah Tehsil in district Doda (J&K).
The event was tele casted live on National Gallantry Award Portal on 12 Nov 2021.
Statue of Nb Sub Chuni Lal has been adopted by 2 J&K (I) Company NCC, Bhaderwah and maintained on a regular basis.
NCC Cadets recited patriotic poems and gave speeches on sacrifices of Nb Sub Chuni Lal.
Additional Director General, NCC Directorate JK&L also recounted the gallantry actions of the War Hero and appreciated the spirit of patriotism, cohesiveness and discipline of the NCC cadets of Bhaderwah region and congratulated them for conduct of the live event in a befitting manner.
