Jammu: A pregnant woman was found dead with throat slit in the kitchen of her home in Darshipora Banihal in Ramban district, officials said on Wednesday.

They identified the deceased as Zubaida Begum, wife of Mohammad Saleem. The 39-year-old woman was the mother of three children.
Sources said Police have launched inquest proceedings under Section 174 of CrPC.
