Army celebrate Eid with Madrassa children in Rajouri

Rajouri: Indian Army at Kotranka’s Samote area organised a festivity gathering with children from Madrassa at Samote, Budhal and Kotranka on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Azha with an aim to bring joy and spread happiness in their lives.

On this occasion, Indian Army distributed sweets, stationary and COVID essential items to these children.

Children from age group of 5 years to 15 years come to Madrassa for spiritual learning with many of these children from underprivileged families.

To motivate these children and to bring happiness and festivities in their lives on the joyful occasion of Eid Ul Azha generally referred as Bakr Eid, interaction was carried out by Indian Army unit at Samote.

A total of 81 Children including 24 at Kotranka, 19 at Budhal and 38 at Samote celebrated Eid with Indian Army personnel.

The children were also given guidance on the importance of education in life and Covid awareness.

Sweets, stationary kits and COVID essential items were distributed to the children.

Celebrations on such festivals alongwith these young budding minds and creating an atmosphere of bonhomie in the area will surely contribute towards a better tomorrow for this region.

The prominent locals of the area lauded this unique initiative of Indian Army and expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude for celebrations with these children.
