COVID-19 AWARENESS THROUGH MEDICAL PATROL IN RAJOURI

Army mobilised Medical Aid Patrol to assist villages of Galuthi, Manjakote and Dehri Ralyote in District Rajouri (J&K). Indian Army has formed Medical Aid Patrol which includes Battle Filed Nursing Assistance for spreading awareness on vaccination, registration and precaution to be taken to prevent spread of the virus.
 
Medical patrol also interacted with the villagers including Sarpanches and Panches.  New symptoms seen in expected third wave of COVID-19 surge were also explained to villagers. The online procedure to registration for vaccination on www.cowin.gov.in application was also explained. They briefed about importance of practicing preventive measures such as maintaining social distance, washing hands with soap, wearing masks and avoiding social gatherings. Leaflets on COVID precautions were also distributed and pasted on public places like Community Halls and Shops. The effort of medical patrol was appreciated by the villagers.
