Kishtwar: A former militant, who was wanted in connection with a murder and attempt to murder case for the past 13 years, was on Tuesday arrested by Jammu and Kashmir Police in Kishtwar district.

Identifying the accused as Naeem Ahmed of Tattani (Kishtwar), police said that a case of murder and attempt to murder was registered against him at Atholi Police Station.
Following information about his whereabouts, a special police team led by Inspector Sohan Singh under the supervision of SDPO Atholi Pardeep Sen raided suspected locations and arrested Naeem from Shalimar area.
