LG R K Mathur in a meeting with Def Min Rajnath Singh in New Delhi expressed gratitude for approval of #Shinkula tunnel project. The approximately 4.25km tunnel stretch will ensure all weather connectivity between Ladakh & Himachal Pradesh.

LG also thanked the Minister for IAF’s assistance for medical purposes, airlifting winter essentials & passengers, especially during #COVID19. LG R K Mathur put forth requests to increase #NCC strength in the naval & air-force wings.

LG R K Mathur requested for one more battalion for #LadakhScoutsRegiment to increase employment opportunities. Assistance from the army to make #Ladakh #carbonneutral was also requested for.
