For first time in past three months, Jammu reports lesser number of Corona deaths and cases than Kashmir

Jammu: The Union Territory on Wednesday reported 1718 new cases of Coronavirus including 575 in Jammu and 1133 in Kashmir.
It also reported 24 Corona related deaths including seven in Jammu and 17 in Kashmir division.
With this, the total death toll ever since the beginning of the pandemic last year has risen to 3963.
The number of Covid positive cases too rose to 2,94,078 in the UT. However, of these, only 31,579 were active positive as the other people have recovered.
