Jammu: Corona related deaths and positive cases registered a downward trend in the UT as 37 people lost battle to the virus in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
Of these, while 24 people died in Jammu division, 13 died in Kashmir. With this, the death toll in UT since the beginning of the Pandemic last year has risen to 3,739.

The UT also reported 2,769 new cases of Coronavirus including 964 in Jammu division and 1,805 in Kashmir.With this, the number of Covid positive cases in the UT so far have risen to 2,81,628. However, there were only 42,272 active positive casesas the remaining 2,35,617 people have recovered.
