Jammu: On account of growing COVID-19 positive cases in the District Rajouri (J&K), Indian Army has mobilised Medical Aid Patrol to assist local populace of the region to fight COVID-19. Indian Army has formed medical Aid patrols which include Battle Field Nursing Assistance for spreading awareness on precautions to be taken to prevent spread of the virus. A local Army unit sent its medical patrol to Gambhir. The patrol interacted with the villagers including Sarpanches and Panches. Villagers were familiarised with symptoms observed in 2nd strain of COVID-19 and on the importance of practicing preventive measures. 224 COVID medical kits consisting of Masks and medicines were distributed to the locals. The efforts of medical patrol have been appreciated by the locals.
