43 more lose battle to Covid-19 in J&K

Jammu: UT on Friday reported 43 deaths including 27 from Jammu division and 16 in Kashmir during the past 24 hours, raising the total Corona related death toll in Jammu and Kashmir ever since the beginning of the pandemic last year to 3,465.

However, with 13 patients losing battle against COVID-19, GMC Jammu continued to top the list of Corona related deaths in the UT.

There had also been 3,848 new cases of COVID-19 including 1,442 from Jammu division and 2,406 in Kashmir. With this, the number of COVID positive cases in the UT since last year rose to 2,63,905.

However, of them, only 49,893 were active positive as 2,10,547 patients have been recovered.
