Kathua: In a major relief to people in Kathua district, the oxygen generation plant in Government Medical College Hospital in the district was on Wednesday commissioned successfully.

Kathua GMC Hospital, where COVID-19 positive patients from the district have been admitted, used to get Oxygen supply in cylinders from a private plant in the district. This private plant, however, had developed some technical snag on May 9 making the administration to turn to adjoining Samba district for Oxygen supply to hospital.
