First time in J&K, 9 young footballers from UT in India U-15 camp
Jammu: For the first time in the history of J&K football as many as nine young boys have been picked in one go for the National Under-15 football camp, organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF).
The selection trails for Under-15 National camp Trails for U-15 Boys took place in J&K in February last. The penal of experts from the AIFF finally selected Jahangir Ahmad Shagoo, Arun Sharma, Muffaid Mukhtar, Annas Ahmad Bhat, Ishav Sagotra, Tajumul Islam, Paras Mehra, Sahil Khursheed Malik and Parth Dewan.
“The Camp will be shortly held at Kalinga Stadium Guest House, Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar in Odisha. The delay in conducting the Camp was caused because of Covid-19 Pandemic,” informed senior football coach of the J&K Sports Council, Sat Pal Singh.
Meanwhile, J&K Football Association (JKFA) congratulated all the players selected for the camp. The players are requested to be in readiness for participation in the camp and should contact the office of the JKFA, Abi Guzar Srinagar for further details about the Camp.
